Launched in 1993, Dyke TV is the nation's first and
longest-running television show by, for, and about queer women*. The
magazine-style show airs on public access channels in the NYC area and
Philadelphia, nationwide on satellite cable Free Speech TV, and
continuously on our website in streaming media. We also operate a
media resource center in Park Slope, Brooklyn where queer women* and
our communities can learn from experienced mentors about all aspects of
video production and editing. These new producers can then use their
skills to create segments for our show, using our equipment for free.
We offer low-cost video production workshops, Final Cut Pro editing
workshops, equipment rental for shoots, tape duplication, and video
production services for outside shoots.
