I'm an OTF member and filmmaker. I also work as the media coordinator for a new national activist network called the Campaign to End AIDS, known as C2EA. As HIV infection rates continue to rise domestically and globally, C2EA hopes to force U.S. politicians to take meaningful action now (see its endorsements from 400 AIDS organizations and its demands at www.c2ea.org). Does anyone have a contact at the Oprah Winfrey Show that they would be willing to share for a good cause? HIV continues to make devastating inroads in the black community, and C2EA has numerous HIV positive African-American women and men at the helm. Oprah or any other relevant contacts that people would like to share can be sent to me at the above address.
